Dear Tradd’s Landing Homeowners,
As most of you may know, GT Homes came to the Cagan Crossings Library to present
their proposal to the community. This meeting was held on January 5, 2026, at 5:00pm.
During this meeting, representatives from GT Homes Builders provided a brief
presentation regarding the community being developed behind Tradd’s Landing. There
was an opportunity for homeowners and residents to speak directly with the builder and
participate in a Q&A session.
Mr. Dowd, representing GT Homes, started the meeting by outlining their proposal:
in exchange for permission to access the road via Harvest Boulevard to enter the
community to reach the development consisting of 190 homes behind Tradd’s Landing,
GT Homes offers to install a traffic signal at the intersection of US-27 and Harvest
Boulevard, with all costs to be borne solely by GT Homes.
They also would provide $100,000 to improve entry signs and landscaping at Tradd’s
Landing on US-27 and Harvest Boulevard, according to a plan approved by GT and the
Association. If enhancement costs go over $100,000, the Association will cover the
extra amount.
There were many questions raised by the homeowners. The major concern was how
would the additional traffic impact the community?
At the meeting, it was explained that the community would have the opportunity to vote
on whether to accept the GT Homes proposal. In order for GT Homes to go forward
they would need to secure a 51% vote from the community. That approval would
require affirmative votes from 161 of the 321 homes in the community to vote in favor of the proposal. Keep an eye on the HOA website/your email/mail for more information.
