Tradd's Landing - GT Homes Update

The Tradd's Landing HOA Board would like to provide the community with an update regarding the proposed GT Homes development. Since the initial community meeting, the Board has continued working with legal counsel to compile and submit residents' questions and concerns to GT Homes and its attorney.  Community questions have been submitted covering traffic, safety, construction timelines, infrastructure, property values, amenities, road access, and potential community benefits. Our attorney requested written responses from GT Homes, so the community receives accurate information and a documented record before a comprehensive Q&A; is released.

Timeline of Events

May 22, 2026 – Board submitted an extensive list of additional resident questions regarding the proposed GT Homes development.

May 28, 2026 – Additional questions were forwarded. Counsel acknowledged receipt and advised he would prepare a written draft after receiving necessary information.

June 5, 2026 – Board followed up. Counsel advised he was delayed by other legal matters but continued working on the report.

June 9, 2026 – Counsel advised many questions require written responses directly from GT Homes and confirmed he formally requested those responses. Preliminary legal guidance was also provided.

June 26, 2026 – Counsel advised GT Homes' attorney acknowledged the request on June 19 and intended to respond, but no written responses had yet been received.  Board followed up informing counsel that the board submitted a public records request to Lake County.

July 8, 2026 – Board again requested an update after hearing nothing further from GT Homes.

July 10, 2026 – Counsel contacted GT Homes again at the Board's request. As of July 10, no response had been received.

July 30, 2026 – Counsel has not received a response from GT Homes.

Current Status

The Board is still awaiting GT Homes' written responses. Once received, legal counsel will complete a comprehensive Q&A; addressing the community's questions, legal considerations, and available options moving forward. The Board remains committed to transparency and will continue providing updates as new information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and continued support.
